The Prince RVT Falcons can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 41-21 margin over Cheney RVT. Prince RVT has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 20 points or more this season.
Despite the loss, Cheney RVT saw an underclassman step up: Janilla Hanson scored seven points along with 12 rebounds and seven blocks. Hanson is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Azariah Quintana, who scored two points.
Prince RVT now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Cheney RVT, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Prince RVT will face off against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harvard Ellis Tech will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. As for Cheney RVT, they will head out on the road to face off against the Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
