The dominant performance gave  Tolbert a new career-high in  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Trent Ipsen, who  posted 11 points.
 Even though they lost, Douglas  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 14  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive rebounds in nine consecutive  matches.
 Douglas has  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost four of their last five contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 11-12 record  this season. As for Carson, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-19.
 Carson took a serious blow against Douglas  in their previous meeting  back in January, falling  51-20. That  game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Carson was down  35-10.
