Springfield Catholic extended the longest winning streak in Central Ozarks - Small this week by beating Buffalo, 24-12. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Bolivar led the league in scoring this week after putting up 56 points on Logan-Rogersville.
Marshfield's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Blayne Armstrong threw for 235 and two touchdowns and Logan Findley had 107 yards receiving. On the ground Dillon Harms chipped in 73 yards. Willie Totten helped Marshfield's passing attack out by catching six balls for 65 yards.
Marshfield's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bluejays feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Armstrong has thrown for 1388 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, while Totten has 43 catches for 498 yards. Hunter Deckard leads the league in rushing with 462 yards.
A big matchup in Central Ozarks - Small this week will be when the Liberators take on Springfield Catholic. Bolivar is in third place, while Bob Cornelison's team is in first place.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Lance Roweton's team takes on the Fighting Irish. The Liberators have allowed 52 points this season, while Springfield Catholic has given up 97. Bolivar allowed 0 points last week as it bested the Wildcats.
