The Ygnacio Valley Wolves waltzed into their match on Thursday with three straight wins but they left with four. They strolled past Benicia with points to spare, taking the game 69-54. This was a revenge game for Ygnacio Valley, as the team was forced to settle for a 66-56 loss when these two played last Monday.
Ygnacio Valley got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Evan McKnight out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Antonio Kellogg Jr, who scored 15 points.
Ygnacio Valley is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season. As for Benicia, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 18-10 record this season.
Ygnacio Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Benicia also has no future games currently scheduled.
