After two games on the road, Edgewood is heading back home. They will take on the Seton Saints at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Edgewood scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 68-30 victory over Talawanda. That 38 points margin sets a new team best for Edgewood this season.
Edgewood had a senior duo take command as Rylie Homan scored 23 points along with seven assists and three steals and Maddy Judd scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Homan has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Drew Swartzel, who scored four points along with eight rebounds and five steals.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Seton beat St. Ursula Academy 51-47 on Thursday.
Edgewood's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-8. As for Seton, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.
