Westview and Valley Center are an even 4-4 against one another  since March of 2015, but likely not for long. The Westview Wolverines will be playing in front of their home fans against the Valley Center Jaguars at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
 Westview is hoping to deliver their fans another blowout  on Tuesday, just like they did against Escondido (and have done all season long). Westview's pitcher stepped up to hand Escondido  a   17-0 shutout  on Thursday. With that  win, Westview brought their scoring average up to 6.2  runs per game.
  Anessa Hartman made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   keeping things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Hartman was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news, Westview let  Lynn Azuma and  Leilani Muller loose on the outfield. Azuma  went 3-for-3 with two  triples, three  RBI,  and two  runs, while  Muller  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. Muller is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  stolen  at least one in the last three games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Taylor Thomas, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 4-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Valley Center came into Thursday's   game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against Ramona on Thursday as Valley Center made off with  an  8-1 victory. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest  win Valley Center has managed all season.
 The  victory (which was Westview's third in a row) raised their record to 15-8. As for Valley Center, their win bumped their record up to 4-20-1.
 Westview took their  victory against Valley Center  in their previous matchup  back in April by a conclusive  14-4. Will Westview repeat their success,  or does  Valley Center have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
