Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (61), Hilton Head Christian Academy still had to take the loss.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Elijah White, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Harrison Skinner was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with two steals.
Hilton Head Christian Academy's lineup was just a bit different on Tuesday as Ethan Foster got a bit more time on the court (20 vs. his season average of 9.95). Foster made the most of the opportunity, scoring 12 points along with six rebounds. A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.
Meanwhile, John Paul II beat Thomas Heyward Academy 49-39 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back wins for John Paul II.
Hilton Head Christian Academy dropped their record down to 10-14 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for John Paul II, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.
