After flying high against Milledgeville Prep on Tuesday, the Providence Classical Christian Warriors came back down to earth. Providence Classical Christian took a serious blow against Trinity Prep on Thursday, falling 66-23. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Providence Classical Christian has scored all season.
It was another big night for Allan Ray IV, who scored 30 points along with seven rebounds and four steals for Trinity Prep. That makes it three consecutive games in which Ray IV has scored at least 25% of Trinity Prep's points. Another player making a difference was RaShane DeLoach II, who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds and three steals.
Providence Classical Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Trinity Prep, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Providence Classical Christian won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Hearts Academy at 6:00 p.m. on December 8th. Hearts Academy has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 7. Trinity Prep won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Notre Dame Academy at 8:30 p.m. on December 8th.
