Lee Academy of Science & Engineering lost to Town East Christian on the road by a decisive 40-24 margin on Friday.
Town East Christian was led to victory by Abel Esquivel and Colin Wingate. Esquivel gained 117 total yards and two touchdowns, while Wingate gained 92 total yards and three touchdowns. Owen Cadena and his 90 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Town East Christian's victory.
Lee Academy of Science & Engineering has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Town East Christian, their win bumped their record up to 1-5.
