They walked away with a 51-43 victory over Twin Lakes. That's another feather in the cap for Lafayette Central Catholic, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lafayette Central Catholic to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ray Clayton, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Albert Schwartz, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds.
Twin Lakes lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jamison Ousley, who scored 11 points along with two steals. Ousley has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Avery Condo was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with two steals.
Lafayette Central Catholic has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Twin Lakes, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-5.
Lafayette Central Catholic will head out on the road to take on the Raiders at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Indiana (Harrison is ranked 100th, while the Knights are ranked 105th). As for Twin Lakes, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against the Redskins at 1:30 p.m. Knox is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 50.2 points per game this season.
