Berwick won the last time they faced Wilkes-Barre, and Julia Rauch did her part to make sure it happened again. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Wolfpack with a sharp 3-0 win on Monday thanks in part to Rauch, who had five digs, two blocks, and two aces. She has been hot for a while, having also posted 17 or more assists the last ten times she's played.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Berwick was: they took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-11, 25-13.

Berwick got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Angie Colone out in front who had 14 kills and six digs. Another player making a difference was Zoey Force, who had 11 digs and two aces.

Wilkes-Barre's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaida Underwood, who had 11 digs. Tatiania Pena was another key player, getting 13 digs.

Berwick's record now sits at 3-1. As for Wilkes-Barre, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Berwick has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Lake-Lehman on the 11th. As for Wilkes-Barre, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Greater Nanticoke Area on the 15th.
