The Rifle Bears's six-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They took down Delta 66-50. That looming 66-50 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Rifle yet this season.
It was another big night for Logan Gross, who scored 25 points. Sterling Cook was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Rifle's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-10. As for Delta, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.
Rifle will head out on the road to face off against Coal Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Coal Ridge focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 last Saturday. As for Delta, they will be playing at home against Aspen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Aspen is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.
