Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Jake Simper stepped things up a notch to give Shiner the 'W'. Simper wasn't messing around, going 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. The matchup was his fourth straight with two or more stolen bases.

Simper's strong effort led Shiner over Bartlett and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
