Loretto was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 58-54 heartbreaker at the hands of the Munford Cougars. On the bright side, the 54- point performance marked the Mustangs' highest-scoring contest to date.

Loretto's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Munford, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Loretto will venture away from home to square off against Richland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Munford, they will take on Bluff City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
