Even though the Edison Tigers scored an imposing 63 points on Saturday, the Lemoore Tigers still came out on top. Lemoore walked away with a 74-63 victory over Edison. The win made it back-to-back wins for Lemoore.
It was another big night for Kaden Lopes, who scored 24 points along with nine assists and five rebounds. That's the first time this season that he posted eight or more assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Kobe Green, who scored 17 points along with seven steals.
Lemoore has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Edison, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-12.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lemoore will take on Hanford at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hanford will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 641st, while Lemoore is ranked 299th). As for Edison, they will be playing at home against Justin Garza at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Justin Garza has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 28.
