Kirtland (Ohio) defeat McDonald (Ohio) 57-0 after a strong game from
Adam Hess, who rushed for four touchdowns. The scores gave the junior 16 touchdowns for the year.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Hess in the first quarter, the Hornets led 34-0 at the half.
Kirtland expanded its lead to 50 points entering the fourth quarter. KHS scored three times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by Hess.
With the win the Hornets extended their winning streak to 11 games. Kirtland defeated Independence 63-9 last week.
Hess was the top performer for Kirtland. He has now scored 16 touchdowns on the season.
KHS came into the game allowing 8.3 points per game.
The defeat comes as a step back for McDonald, who notched a 48-14 victory over Jackson-Milton in its previous outing.
