Central Connecticut II West recap October 8, 2013
Adding to the longest winning streak in Central Connecticut II West this week, Windsor beat Hartford Public 21-14. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
Farmington and Wethersfield played the closest game in the league this week, with Farmington eventually emerging with a 32-28 victory. Ivan Guadalupe ran for 189 yards in the win.
JAYLEN BERRY was a passing and rushing force as Windsor defeated the Owls. BERRY's key target this week was TYNIQUE WOODS-CULVER, who caught 3 passes for 40 yards.
BERRY was a beast in the backfield as Rob Fleeting's team beat Hartford Public.
JEDIDIAH HAYNES and BERRY gave the Warriors a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. HAYNES threw for 135 yards and 1 touchdown, while BERRY ran for 225 yards. Teammate JORDAN KNIGHT added to the ground attack by rushing for 45 yards.
Windsor's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Warriors feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. JOHN NOLAN has thrown for 493 yards and 4 touchdowns this season, while WOODS-CULVER has 18 catches for 428 yards.
Middletown led the league in scoring this week after putting up 43 points on Fermi.
