It's playoff time, and Catawba Ridge had no trouble coming through when it counted. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Fort Mill Yellow Jackets a 15-0 shutout on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Copperheads, who have now won 18 matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Catawba Ridge's win was their 24th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Fort Mill, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-11.

Catawba Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fort Mill, they are taking a road trip to face off against Indian Land at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
