Indian Rocks Christian's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Anthony Harris, who picked up 117 receiving yards and a touchdown. Another player making a difference was Keatin Emener, who threw for 193 yards and two touchdowns.
Clearwater Central Catholic was led to victory by Justin Stephens and Jershaun Newton. Stephens rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, while Newton threw for 115 yards and two touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes.
Clearwater Central Catholic's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB eight times. The heavy lifting was done by Keo Jenkins and Tyrique Harris who racked up six sacks between them.
