Mead saw its 7-point halftime lead fall to one entering the fourth.
George Lara played well for the Wolverines. He threw one touchdown.
Anderson stood out for MHS in the win. The junior running back caught one touchdown. He has now scored five touchdowns on the season.
The win was a nice bounce back for the Longmont school, which lost to Erie last week, 24-0.
In a 3A Tri-Valley game next week Mead (2-3) takes on Berthoud, and Skyview (0-5) will go up against Weld Central in a 3A Metro - East game.
