Middlesex moved up to 300 from 328 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 1A Conference 42. The Chargers climbed the ranks as a result of besting Lancaster 32-23.
Charles City fell to Franklin 56-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, West Point's Robert "Mikey" Anerton and Edgar "L.A." Allen have proven to be a lethal combination. Anerton has thrown for 802 yards this season, while Allen, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 8 catches for 296 yards. Marques Holmes from Middlesex leads the league in rushing with 316 yards.
Billy Jarvis' team made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 11,500 from 12,773. The improvement was the result of 32-23 victory over the Red Devils last week.
