Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the J.H. Rose Rampants walked away with it. They came out on top against North Brunswick by a score of 14-7 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back wins for J.H. Rose.
Leading J.H. Rose to victory were Malachi Keyes and Jameer Roach. Keyes picked up 73 receiving yards and a touchdown, while Roach rushed for 118 yards and a touchdown.
J.H. Rose's win bumped their record up to 6-6. As for North Brunswick, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-4.
J.H. Rose will head out on the road to face off against Havelock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Havelock will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive. North Brunswick does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
