Spanish Springs has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7-1 record this season. As for Galena, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-13-1.
Spanish Springs' speedy runners might be the difference in Saturday's matchup. The Cougars have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.7 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Galena, though, as they've been averaging only 0.7 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Spanish Springs continue to outrun the ball?
Everything went Spanish Springs' way against Galena when the teams last played back in March, as Spanish Springs made off with an 18-7 victory. Do the Cougars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Grizzlies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
