Leading Waterbury Career Academy to victory were Andrew Williams and Zaire Lott. Williams scored 21 points along with six assists and three steals, while Lott scored 19 points along with five steals and four blocks. The match was Williams' fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonovan Bracey, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Oxford's loss was their third straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-3. As for Waterbury Career Academy, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
