As for Cumberland, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games.
On Cumberland's side, the team relied heavily on Hailey Paulson, who went 1-for-3 with five stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those five stolen bases gave Paulson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Presli Butzler, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
