After flying high against the Liberty Christian Academy Heat on Monday, the Harrells Christian Academy Crusaders came back down to earth. Harrells Christian Academy fell just short of Greenfield by a score of 69-66. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Harrells Christian Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dashaun McKoy, who scored 17 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Antonio McKoy was another key contributor, scoring 21 points.
Harrells Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Greenfield, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.
Harrells Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against Rocky Mount Academy at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Greenfield will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Blue Ridge at 4:30 p.m. on December 1st.
