Trey Rush Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Grady got the W thanks in part to Trey Rush playing the best football he has all season. Rush rushed for 203 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, and also picked up 63 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up two sacks, forcing two fumbles, and making 13 total tackles (5.0 for loss).
The victory was the fifth in a row for Grady, bringing their record for this year to 7-1. Rush and Grady will venture away from home to square off against Floyd at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.

Brycen Barnes produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Roy/Mosquero to the win on Friday. Barnes rushed for 163 yards and four touchdowns on only nine carries. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making three total tackles and defending two passes.
Floyd's probably not too fond of Barnes given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Barnes saw the Broncos), he rushed for 48 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 42 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Gonzalez-Lopez Came Up Big in New Mexico School for the Deaf's 58-26 Loss
While Alex Gonzalez-Lopez delivered a dominant performance on Thursday, a win just wasn't in the cards for New Mexico School for the Deaf. Gonzalez-Lopez was dynamite, picking up 129 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 84 yards on only ten carries.
New Mexico School for the Deaf dropped their record down to 2-4 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Gonzalez-Lopez and New Mexico School for the Deaf will head out to face off against Arkansas School for the Deaf at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Grady picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Deakin Ragland. Elida had no answer to Ragland as he picked up 71 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown.
