The Hoover Buccaneers will be taking part in a tournament against the Sparkman Senators at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

The Senators walked away with a 13-8 victory over the Trojans on Thursday. The game was the first time the Senators have beaten the Trojans on their field since March 14, 2022.
Sparkman got a massive performance out of Abby Majors, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Raychel Harmon was another key player, going 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Sparkman pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for Hoover, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.
