Greater Atlanta Christian dropped down to 5-2 on Friday, ending the team's five-game streak of wins. They took a 49-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Hall Trojans. The Spartans were not able to make up for their loss to the Trojans from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.
When it comes to explaining why Greater Atlanta Christian lost, don't look at Michael Miller. Despite the final result, he threw for 243 yards and two TDs while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 48 yards and one touchdown. A healthy portion of Miller's aerial production (100 yards to be exact) went to Jack Griggs, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Parker Carlton was his usual excellent self, rushing for 179 yards and three scores. That's the most rushing touchdowns he has posted since back in November of 2024. Wyatt Tumlin was another key rusher, rushing for 50 yards and one touchdown.
Greater Atlanta Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 40-14 win against White County on the 17th. As for North Hall, they have also already played their next game, a 35-12 victory against Lumpkin County on the 17th.
