Baseball Recap: Trinity Valley's Losing Streak Snapped at Six Games

Trinity Valley can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Episcopal School of Dallas Eagles with a sharp 8-1 win. The Trojans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

The team relied heavily on Jackson Drake, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Andrew Audi, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Trinity Valley's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 3-13. As for Episcopal School of Dallas, they moved to 6-10-1 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Trinity Valley will face off against Fort Worth Country Day at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Episcopal School of Dallas, they will square off against St. Andrew's at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
