Downers Grove North has gone 6-1 against Berwyn/Cicero Morton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Trojans will look to defend their home field against the Mustangs at 10:00 a.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Downers Grove North took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Lyons, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Trojans skirted past the Lions 14-12. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Zach Ziroli looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

Jayden Vega made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Berwyn/Cicero Morton's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Downers Grove North hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .326.
