The Northmor Golden Knights came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.2 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Cardington-Lincoln by a score of 65-57. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
It was another big night for Jax Wenger, who almost dropped a triple-double on 22 points, ten rebounds, and nine assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Drew Hammond, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds.
Northmor's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Cardington-Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-6.
