The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Lake Norman Christian in their matchups with Victory Christian Center: they've now lost five in a row.
Victory Christian Center's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Xavier Perry, who scored 25 points along with six rebounds and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Myles Smith, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds.
Lake Norman Christian dropped their record down to 4-12 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. That rough patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.4 points per game. As for Victory Christian Center, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 24-8 record this season.
