Ridgeline has gone a perfect 10-0 against Bear River recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Riverhawks will challenge the Bears at 7:00 p.m. Ridgeline is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.2 points per game this season.
On Tuesday, everything came up roses for Ridgeline against Stansbury as the squad secured a 51-16 victory. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 36-6.

Ridgeline can attribute much of their success to Brooke Smith, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 15 points along with five boards and four steals, and Sianna Dowdin, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds. Those 12 points gave Dowdin a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Brown, who posted five points in addition to six rebounds and five assists.
Ridgeline smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in five consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Bear River came into Tuesday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They snuck past Deseret Peak with a 37-33 win on Tuesday.
Bear River's win came from a few key players that Ridgeline will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Olivia Fry, who scored eight points and ten boards. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down nine or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Maylee Higley, who earned 15 points and three steals.
Ridgeline's record now sits at 14-7. As for Bear River, their record is now 8-12.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Ridgeline has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 31.9 boards per game. However, it's not like Bear River struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 37.5 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
