The Roxboro Community Bulldogs can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Henderson Collegiate 74-1 on the road. With that win, Roxboro Community brought their scoring average up to 51.4 points per game.
Leading Roxboro Community to victory were Katherine-kaey "katie" Mann and Karrie Obie. Mann scored 22 points along with seven assists and seven steals, while Obie scored 24 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Obie has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Nancy Carver, who scored ten points along with four steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Roxboro Community and bumps their season record up to 7-5. As for Henderson Collegiate, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Roxboro Community will head out on the road to take on Eno River at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Eno River focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight last Monday. As for Henderson Collegiate, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Excelsior Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. Excelsior Classical Academy is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses.
