Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Twin Peaks Classical Academy). They enjoyed a cozy  80-64 win over the William Smith Eagles on Monday. The Timberwolves pushed the score to  62-39 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles cut but never quite recovered from.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Twin Peaks Classical Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Matthew Wurth, who  almost  dropped  a double-double with nine  points and 16  rebounds. That's the most  boards  Wurth has posted since back in December of 2024.  Jace Ross was another key player,  going 6 of 15  en route to 17 points and three  steals.
 Twin Peaks Classical Academy  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 18  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least ten  offensive boards in 11 consecutive  games.
 Despite the  loss, William Smith saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Jordan Osei  went 13 for 17  to rack up 34  points and five  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Leo Rodriguez, who  went 5 of 6  on his way to 10 points and seven  rebounds.
Twin Peaks Classical Academy has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record  this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 63.4 points over those games. As for William Smith, they dropped their record down to 2-12 with the  defeat, which was their 11th straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Coming up, Twin Peaks Classical Academy will venture away from home to  square off against Loveland Classical  at 7:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for William Smith, they will welcome Alameda  at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
