Even though the Scott Eagles scored an imposing 73 points on Tuesday, the Harrison County Thorobreds still came out on top. Harrison County came out on top in a nail-biter against Scott and snuck past 76-73. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Harrison County.
Scott's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dylan Giffen, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Xarek Sarakatsannis, who scored 16 points.
Harrison County's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Scott, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8.
Harrison County has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Campbell County at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th. Scott will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Lloyd Memorial at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th.
