The Windsor Locks Raiders lost against the Bolton Bulldogs back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Windsor Locks took a hard 53-38 fall against Bolton. Windsor Locks has struggled against Bolton recently, as their contest on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Windsor Locks still got an impressive performance from Jasmine Hurdle, who scored 16 points along with five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hurdle has scored all season. Katie Gough was another key contributor, scoring four points along with five rebounds.
Bolton got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Niya Islam out in front who scored 21 points along with two steals. Islam hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Makenna Graves, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds.
Windsor Locks has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Bolton, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Windsor Locks will take on Ellington at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Ellington presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Windsor Locks in Connecticut (Ellington is ranked 17th, while Windsor Locks is ranked 118th). As for Bolton, they will be playing at home against Sports & Medical Sciences Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
