The Argos Dragons didn't have quite enough to beat the Northwestern Tigers on Thursday and fell  2-1.
 Ivy Stackhouse was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out ten over six innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in 16 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  getting four  hits from her four  at bats.
 In other batting news,  Ava Stackhouse was cooking despite her team's loss,   going a perfect 1-for-1 with one  triple and one  run.
Argos' loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Northwestern, the  victory was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-14.
 Coming up, Argos will head out on the road to  square off against  North Judson-San Pierre  at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. As for Northwestern, they will square off against Logansport at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
