Neuse Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Lyla Lindstrom, who scored nine points. Another player making a difference was Morgan Little, who scored four points along with two steals.
Thales Academy Apex pushed their record up to 12-4 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30.33 points. As for Neuse Christian Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-5.
Thales Academy Apex will take on Thales Academy Rolesville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Thales Academy Rolesville will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 509th, while Thales Academy Apex is ranked 189th). As for Neuse Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
