After a string of three wins, the Bolles Bulldogs's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 53-44 to Seffner Christian.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Presley Norman, who scored 16 points. Evie Freeman was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with eight rebounds and five steals.
Bolles' defeat dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Seffner Christian, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-1.
Bolles will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Manasquan at 5:00 p.m. on December 29, 2023. Manasquan is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. Seffner Christian won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Boca Raton at 12:45 p.m. on December 29, 2023. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Boca Raton is ranked 28th, while Seffner Christian is ranked 15th).
