Even though the Mohave Accelerated Patriots scored an imposing 56 points on Friday, the Kingman Academy Tigers still came out on top. Kingman Academy took their matchup against Mohave Accelerated 69-56. The win made it back-to-back wins for Kingman Academy.
It was another big night for Cade Benson, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 15 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last ten games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Anderson, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Kingman Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-10 record this season. As for Mohave Accelerated, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kingman Academy will take on St. John Paul II Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mohave Accelerated, Mohave Accelerated and Heritage Academy will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
