O'Connor saw nine different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abigail Yanez, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Avery Gourlay was another, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.
O'Connor's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Basha, their win bumped their record up to 8-2-2.
Wednesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Basha hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .333. However, it's not like O'Connor struggles in that department as they've averaged .383. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
