Metuchen lost on Friday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ben Santus, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds. The matchup was Santus' fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Matt Smith, who scored 12 points.
Metuchen now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Middlesex, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.
