That makes it six consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Hampton Christian Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mahdy Sigler, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Denbigh Baptist Christian came up short against Greenbrier Christian Academy on Monday and fell 39-32. Denbigh Baptist Christian has struggled against Greenbrier Christian Academy recently, as their game on Monday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Payten Gary, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Emily Dangerfield was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with seven rebounds.
Hampton Christian Academy pushed their record up to 16-0 with that victory, which was their ninth straight on the road. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 33.6 points. As for Denbigh Baptist Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Hampton Christian Academy have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 33.6 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Denbigh Baptist Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 26.6 rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
