The high schools that have the most players in the 2013 NCAA Tournament should come as no surprise. Powerhouse prep schools have become a breeding ground for top NCAA talent, and this year's crop is no different.
Leading the way are Brewster Academy (Wolfeboro, N.H.) and Findlay Prep (Henderson, Nev.), each with 10 players in the tournament. They are followed by Notre Dame Prep (Fitchburg, Mass.) with eight, and Hargrave Military Academy (Chatham, Va.) and Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.) with seven each.
The first non-prep school on the list is perennial basketball power Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.), also with seven players in the tournament. Next for non-prep schools are DeMatha (Hyattsville, Md.) and Price (Los Angeles) with five each.
As if enough weren't at stake in the NCAA Tournament, knowing where this year's players went to high school can add yet another element of drama to this frenetic time of year. Let's take a closer look and identify some potentially interesting matchups between high school teammates.
Potential Matchups Between High School TeammatesAnything Can Happen: Eastern (Louisville, Ky.) has two players on the opposite ends of the March Madness spectrum — Remy Abell and No. 1 Indiana will play Arman Marks and No. 16 James Madison on Friday afternoon.

Jersey City Showdown: Barring an upset, UCLA's Kyle Anderson will face fellow St. Anthony (Jersey City, N.J.) alum Mike Rosario and Florida in the Round of 32.
Brewster's Bracket: Fans of Brewster Academy should be watching the South Bracket — five
schools (Kansas, Akron, Michigan, Minnesota and Oklahoma) feature former
Brewster players.
Three-on-One Drill? If Memphis and Saint Louis meet in the Sweet 16, Memphis' Antonio Barton will face three of his former Notre Dame Prep teammates — Grandy Glaze, Jordair Jett and Jake Barnett.
Double the Fun: Should UNLV play Arizona for the title, both championship teams will have two former Findlay Prep players — Anthony Bennett and Carlos Lopez-Sosa for UNLV, Brandon Ashley and Nick Johnson for Arizona.
Carolina Clash: The mother of all college basketball rivalries would get an added bonus if North Carolina and Duke were to meet in the title game — Duke's Ryan Kelly and North Carolina's Luke Davis both went to Ravenscroft High School in Raleigh.
Interesting FactsStaying Together: 30 high schools have multiple alumni on the same college team; Five schools (Notre Dame Prep, Australian Institute of Sport, Mater Dei, Price and Marcus) have three players at the same college.

IMG? More Like OMG! Only one high school has players at multiple No. 1 seeds — IMG Academy alums Christian Garrett and Jamari Traylor play for Kansas, while high school teammate Mangok Mathiang is on the Louisville squad.
Bleeding Carolina Blue: Chapel Hill High School has two players in the tournament; not surprisingly they both go to North Carolina.
A Family Affair: Seven pairs of brothers in the tournament went to the same high school; all but two of the pairs (Jerian and Jerami Grant of DeMatha, Erik and Alex Murphy of St. Mark's) are at the same college.
G'day Mate: Australia is heavily represented with seven players coming out of the Australian Institute of Sport, which sent three players to St. Mary's and two to New Mexico.
What's in a Name? The similarly named DeSean Anderson and DaShawn Gomez both went to Inglewood (Calif.) and now both are at Iona.
