The Erie Red Devils's five-game losing streak dating back to last season came to an end on Tuesday. They really took it to Oswego for the full four quarters, racking up a 54-21 victory on the road. Erie's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Alexandra Pasquarelli was her usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with six rebounds. The contest was her fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kinzie Cleaver, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Erie's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 1-4. As for Oswego, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4-1.
Erie will be home for the holidays to greet Uniontown on Friday. Uniontown and Erie are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Oswego, they will head out on the road to face off against Dexter on Friday.
