Leading Chambers/Wheeler Central to victory were William Jesse and Elijah Heinz. Jesse scored 17 points, while Heinz scored 16 points along with six assists and four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Heinz has scored at least 25% of Chambers/Wheeler Central's points. Daniel Kluver was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven rebounds.
Chambers/Wheeler Central's win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-9. As for Creighton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
