The Nature Coast Tech Sharks will venture away from home to take on the Hernando Leopards at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Nature Coast Tech is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.

On Thursday, Nature Coast Tech got the win against Hudson by a conclusive 13-2. The victory continues a trend for the Sharks in their matchups with the Cobras: they've now won four in a row.

Nature Coast Tech got a massive performance out of BRADY MCMURDO, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run and three RBI. That home run was MCMURDO's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of JOEY VANCLEAVE, who scored four runs while going 2-for-3.

MCMURDO wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Nature Coast Tech lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in March of 2024.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hernando, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They skirted past Mitchell 2-0.

Hernando pushed their record up to 14-10 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Nature Coast Tech, their record is now 16-7.

Nature Coast Tech was able to grind out a solid win over Hernando in their previous meeting on Tuesday, winning 6-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Sharks since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
