Paradise Honors has gone a perfect 4-0 against Moon Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. Paradise Honors will welcome Moon Valley at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Paradise Honors has four straight victories, Moon Valley has seven straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Thursday, Paradise Honors got the win against Shadow Mountain by a conclusive 17-1. Considering the Panthers have won five games by more than ten runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Olivia Jimenez Facio made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with four RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Paradise Honors let Ashlyn Elliott and Pressley Fought run wild. Elliott went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one double, while Fought scored four runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Those four RBI gave Elliott a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jenna McHone, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Paradise Honors hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most five strikeouts in eight consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Moon Valley lost 25-3 to Thunderbird on Thursday.
Vida Cedillo made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season.
The win got Paradise Honors back to even at 7-7. As for Moon Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
Moon Valley's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Paradise Honors hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .362. It's a different story for Moon Valley, though, as they've only averaged .243. Will they be able to contain Paradise Honors' hitters?
Everything went Paradise Honors' way against Moon Valley when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Paradise Honors made off with a 19-0 victory. Will Paradise Honors repeat their success, or does Moon Valley has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
